Flush & Wash
A salt chelation flush and wash utilizes product that uses the chemical process known as "chelation" to basically neutralize salts, meaning all salts, not just the sodium chloride that goes on the roads and our food, but also calcium and magnesium cholrides, that are used in modern road brines. While they are awesome at helping with Ice and Snow, they wreak pure havoc on our vehicles, by getting into frame rails, rockers, cab corners, and other cavities and giving them a salt bath, indefinetely. Some of these salts are hydroscopic, meaning they attract moisture, so if that residue is present in the summer, and you drive in the rain, or through a puddle, these salts will absorb that water and create a brine again, by chelating the salts and then flushing away the byproduct, it leaves a clean surface to accept an oil based rustproofing product.
Our service uses low/medium pressures with high volume, and specialized tools to target hard to reach areas insuring we have the ability to remove not only the salts, but also debris from frame rails, and undercarriages.

-Remediation-
We use needle descalers, wire wheels, and other forms of mechanical tools to remove heavy and flaking rust, if necessary, from the frame and other solid parts of undercarriages, to assure that the oil coating will reach solid metal, adhere, and soak in to actually treat the steel. This work can be tedious, dirty/dusty, and hazardous. we always want to catch the rust before this is a reality, oil coating can stop rust and treat it, but can NOT re-grow steel.
We can also use other chemical methods of "converting" rust, basically turning iron oxide into iron phosphate.

Additional Services
Packages are a group of products that I group together based on application, some will have a higher cost than others due to the services and/or products being used, some work better for certain instances, and if one package is requested, and I feel like it's unnecessary based on the condition, or application/use of vehicle or equipment, I'll let you know, even if it loses me money.
-The Country Boy-
Includes an Oil/Lanolin blend on undercarriages, but for cavities, under the hood and in tailgate/hatch it would be a thinner viscosity oil based product that has Scent oils impregnated to repel rodents away from the wiring, etc.
-The Overlander-
Includes Oil/Lanolin blend on all components and high wear treatment to select areas AFTER a Salt Chelation Flush & Rinse, including frame flush to remove any build up from off-roading.
-The Rustoration-
Includes Oil/Lanolin blend on all components, but will include any and all methods of remediation including descaling, phosphoric acid spot treatment, etc to acheive as close to bare steel as possible, then a Salt Chelation Flush prior to coating. Most expensive and extensive, we may contract a 3rd party for dry ice/media blasting if necessary to achieve a better surface condition for Undercoating.

We Can/Will contract with 3rd party media blasting , or fabrication companies for restoration that exceeds our capabilities in the shop.
We have certain brands that we use and trust and are professional grade, but if a certain product is requested, we can discuss it at time of quote, and I can obtain any product and apply it, some people are brand loyal, and I get it.

Other Services are currently being Reasearched and Tested to ensure they are viable, affordable, and mutually beneficial options and will be added if/when we determine that they are.
I am not in the business of "upselling" or recommending things that arent necessary, some people like the peace of mind of having minor surface rust descaled or chemically treated, I will gladly do it, but often times it isn't necessary for the longevity of the vehicle. An annual salt flush wouldn't hurt by any means, and most definetley would chelate the salt, but maintaining the oil coating takes priority in terms of long term protection.
