Mobile Rustproofing Rooted in Faith and Integrity.
We are lovers of Nature, and avid outdoor enthusiasts, so we take pride in exercising Good Stewardship Practices with your Vehicle and the Earth around it, We use environmentally friendly products, that don't add to the already toxic environments in some areas, preserving God's creation for our posterity.
Who are we?
My name is Chris, Founder of Redeemed Rustproofing. I was born and raised on the Westside of Detroit, I met my wonderful wife in Taylor, then lived in Jackson for a few years and now live in beautiful rural Gladwin County, so with that diverse locational perspective I know firsthand how Michigan winters and the associated salt and brine, mixed with our "lovely" roads can destroy a vehicle. I was proud of my first cars, but no matter what I tried—sprays, paints, rubber coatings—rust always won, and soon followed the premature mechanical failures, with parts rusting away and falling off, that racked up bills that cost more than the value of the vehicle, through the years moving around and landing in a rural area I discovered another problem, Rodents love wiring, and love nesting in small spaces, so we learned from that and found a product that handles that as well. That’s why I started this business: to be part of the solution.
At Redeemed Rustproofing, we offer mobile rust protection across Mid-Michigan. Serving rural, urban, and suburban families, farmers, small business owners, fleet managers, heavy equipment operators, municipalities, ORV enthusiasts, campers, infrastructure companies, etc. We use eco-conscious formulas, which are non-toxic, non-hazardous, environmentally friendly and effective. Some even include natural pest deterrents like peppermint oil and synthetic predator scents, great for rural areas, farms, storage, or anything with wiring that those friendly field mice or chipmunks LOVE! Our mission is to help protect your equipment, our infrastructure, and the environment.
This work is rooted in stewardship: caring for the tools we’ve been given and the world we live in. I’m guided by my faith, a love for my family and community, and a belief in an honest days work, sustainable solutions, and pride in doing what matters—and doing it well.

What products do we use, and why?
We use a few different products, and the reason for that is simple, We are an independent Rustproofing company, not beholden to, sponsored by, or paid by any companies to use their products, no affiliate programs, no franchises, just honesty, and integrity!
The products we have selected were chosen because we believe they are the best. We primarily use the Clear/Straw/Amber colored product for a few reasons, any time an additional product is added, it takes space, so common sense dictates that's less Oil/Lanolin as a total percentage of the product, also while the black can "look better" from some perspectives, the clear allows us to monitor your rust regression, or progression and make adjustments as needed from year to year. The cost is the same, we do not chose this for economic reasons, we want to closely monitor the equipment to keep that rust at bay! From the old school that has been used since the 40's, to the new school which innovates and incorporates things like rodent deterrents into it, we like them both, and they both have their place in the rustproofing industry.
One of the products we use is lanolin (the oil from sheep wool) based, and has been, and still is being used in the marine, aerospace, ag, automotive, and defense industries in the US and abroad, first developed to combat rust for the Navy.
The other is oil based and was developed for, and is constantly being tuned and optimized to combat corrosive salt brine solutions being used on our roads, as well as innovating new ways to protect our equipment from rodent infestation. Deterring them by taste, touch, scent, and predatory fear, adding oils, and undetectable predator scents to the formula.
Rustproofing is coming back, and coming back BIG! People are realizing that when a truck costs 65-105k, farm equipment and heavy machinery costs substantially more, recreational vehicles, utvs, boats, etc. cost an arm and a leg, and maintenance costs have also risen significantly, why not protect your equipment by investing in one of the most cost effective ways to extend its life, and the life of its components. Your mechanics will thank you for the diligence, and preventing all the rust from falling in their face when they have to work on it, and you'll never hear the phrase "it can't be stuck if it's liquid" ever again, If you know....you know!

Automobiles
Transparency is KEY! We start by inspecting the underside for hazardous rust areas that may need repair, so a customer is aware of the limits of rustproofing, we then use compressed air to remove small debris If necessary from underneath and inside the frame**. We then apply a comprehensive undercoat* to the vehicle making sure to get inside the frame**, rockers, and any accessible cavities, avoiding exhaust, brakes and any other area the customer requests. Once the underside is complete, we get into the upper body cavities, door hinges, hood area, tailgate/trunk and if requested, we will spray battery terminals to prevent corrosion. Any overspray on lower doors , hood, or trunk/tailgate MAY be removed by the customer if they wish, but we recommend you leave it for added protection. A garden hose level pressure is all that's recommended underneath until youre ready for annual reapplication, then you may pressure wash if desired.
*Clear/Amber is standard color for undercoating, all the protective benefits, while monitoring the rust. Black spray makes you think the underbody "looks better" but offers no additional protection, and masks the rust better which can make it more difficult to monitor. This product contains Pest and Rodent deterring additives!
**Full Size GM vehicles have a factory wax that will eventually harden and flake off, if you're worried about warranty issues we can avoid the frame to the best of our ability, the product we use may help keep that wax supple, but it may also soften it more than desired. Be Informed.

Municipal
Protecting those that serve us! Whether its the standard City/Twp/County/State vehicles completing daily tasks or the Road Commission out there working tirelessly to keep our roads snow and ice free, clear fallen debris, or grade those dirt roads that chip all of that paint, or its the Fire Department out there Rescuing kittens, or fighting the blaze, or our police and sheriffs departments out there protecting and serving, and last but not least our EMS who save countless lives every day. One thing is for certain, they are either directly or indirectly exposed to road salt, brine, corrosives, and all kinds of other hazards, and that requires safe and well maintained vehicles, with an abundance of wiring and metal, all of which deserves the protection that they provide us. Not to mention the cost reduction for taxpayers when they realize we haven't had to buy new equipment in a while, because the old stuff is in great shape, and being well maintained, including an annual Rustproofing* treatment to go along with all of the other maintenance they receive.
*Clear/Amber is standard color for undercoating, all the protective benefits, while monitoring the rust. Black spray makes you think the underbody "looks better" but offers no additional protection, and masks the rust better which can make it more difficult to monitor. This product contains Pest and Rodent deterring additives!

Farm/AG
We love our farmers! We took extra care to find products that are Non-Toxic, Non-Hazardous and safe for AG equipment. We start with an inspection to identify any severe rust that may be hazardous if not repaired, then remove light debris if necessary with compressed air. Next we will apply a comprehensive undercoat, and surface coat to all frame, lower body, 3pt, PTO, loader arms, SSQA area, and will even spray your bucket if desired, additional implements can be added to your spray if you have them on site, we will spray door hinges, hood latches, hood cavities and all the nooks and crannies we can find. AG equipment sits dormant for long periods or gets worked hard, any area at risk of sitting idle for long periods or having the frame or body chipped, rubbed, scratched or being exposed to chemicals or corrosives, should be protected! A light spray with garden hose or similar to remove dirt/debris is all that's recommended until you're ready for your annual reapplication, then you may pressure wash if desired.

ORVs
Michigan is a recreational state, be it riding out to the honey hole, hauling out to deer camp, or just trail riding with the family, chances are at some point the ORV is getting either garaged, or left out behind the wood shed(ask me how i know) and when it sits there, all those critters have a nice warm house for the winter, one of the products we use has natural oil, and synthetic predator scent infused in it, keeping away those pests, and protecting your wiring. If you're like my household, we ride year round but what does that mean, that means taking all the salt and brine in the winter, covering that undercarriage and suspension, then come spring, hitting those mud and water holes and pushing it up into the cavities, and encapsulating it... yikes! Give her a good bath, let her dry, then get her Rustproofed*, we will spray all of the suspension parts, exposed frame, and get up under that skid plate the best we can with our extension wands, even spray the winch line(if steel) to coat her with a good creeping lubricant, the product is non conductive, displaces moisture, and repels pests, so it will help keep all that bad out, including the furry kind!

Fleet
Trucking and fleet maintenance moves America! Large or small fleets, we can get you protected, depending on your fleet and what type of vehicles they are, processes will vary quite a bit, for fleet cars and trucks, we follow the same steps as our automobile rustproof, for larger equipment, we follow the same steps as our heavy equipment or AG package, we offer volume discounts on fleets if similar vehicles are done in the same session, and fleets definitionally consist of multiple vehicles, so book a few at a time to receive a discount. Fleet vehicles range from pavement princesses, to getting destroyed on job sites, our Rustproofing* will help keep any corrosives, chemicals, etc. off of that vehicle, displacing moisture that clings to dirt may cause a layer on the underside, a garden hose level pressure is recommended to wash, only pressure wash if you plan on getting your annual application soon.

Camper/RV
Not all those who wander are lost, but all those who are stranded are definitely in a pickle, especially someone who camps out in nature and depends on their electrical systems to bring some of those creature comforts to the wild. Lets overlook the major issues of rust and corrosion causing leaks, compromising the structural integrity of the camper, and let's focus on the mice, the munks, the pests...The Rustproofing* we provide not only protects your vehicle and equipment from the corrosive effects of winter, but also the rodent effects, the chewed wiring that means no lights, no power, no AC, no heat, no refrigeration, etc. Or the expensive seats, mattresses, carpet, insulation, etc. being destroyed by these fuzzy tailed terrorists! Keep these guys out with the power of natural oils, and synthetic predator scent!

Heavy Equipment
As a long time member of IUOE 324, I understand the need for reliable equipment for our Operators, free from hazardous corrosion, causing seized pins, latches, arms, blades, SSQAs, leading to extra pressure applied to cylinders, hoods and doors that stick, and hard parts like excavator arms, counterweights, and general body steel that gets dinged, banged, smashed, and ran into. If the paint or factory coating is removed, it will rust, and that cancer will spread throughout the machine, a lanolin or clear oil based, non-toxic and non-hazardous Rustproofing application is an effective way to help prevent these issues as the coating creeps around into all the little hidden areas and pinch welds, and is self healing so when you inevitably scratch or scrape that equipment, you'll have an additional layer of protection. I know the cost of this equipment, and it's not getting cheaper, protect your investments with rustproofing and increase your resale value later. Clear(amber) fluid is used on these machines due to the need to spray the large exterior of them, and to easily monitor leaks if they arise. A garden hose pressure or equivalent is recommended for removing debris, once you are ready for annual reapplication, you may pressure wash if you desire.

Infrastructure
Whether its Natural Gas wells and tanks, Propane bulk storage tanks, electrical equipment, etc. Rustproofing* this equipment to extend the lifespan of our aging infrastructure is one way to slow the corrosion and oxidation on this equipment, often these tanks, wells, boxes, etc. are left to sit, sometimes in the middle of nowhere for years without taking into account the havoc that mother nature is releasing on them, the products we use are Non conductive, and have a bulk flash point of 400+ degrees Fahrenheit. Promote the safety, improve the aesthetics, and extend the longevity of this equipment with Rustproofing*, helping keep America on her game in the energy domain.
*Clear/Amber is standard color for undercoating, all the protective benefits, while monitoring the rust. Due to infrastructure equipment usually being large in size, and being either solid metal or electrically charged, the need for pest deterrents isnt nearly as applicable if at all, so we use a tried and true product used since the 40's in the Marine/Defense Industry.
